D.C. NeuroLeadership Interest Group
Neuroleadership is an emerging field of study focused on bringing neuroscientific knowledge into the areas of leadership development, management training, change management, education, consulting and coaching. The neuroleadership movement is intended to help individuals and organizations of all types fulfill their potential through better understanding how the human brain functions at individual, team and systemic levels. This global movement has instituted local interest groups for networking and information sharing, and to further study the application of growing body of neuroscience literature as applied to leadership development, coaching, awareness and communication. WordsWork is involved in the D.C. NeuroLeadership Interest Group to tap into the myriad researchers in pioneering the field at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the Washington-area’s burgeoning bioscience business community, and in translational areas of research to practice.
